Benjamin Disraeli introducing his reform bill in the House of Commons, c1867. Disraeli (1804-1881) served as Chancellor of the Exchequer and as British Prime Minister. His Reform Act of 1867 greatly increased the number of men eligible to vote in elections in the United Kingdom.
